The purpose of Life according to Islam

With Macod Datomanong Rascal

And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me.” (51:56).

The very purpose why men (and the jinn) are created by the Merciful Creator is to worship Him, nothing else. But WORSHIP does not only mean ‘Salah’ (Ritual Prayer) or ‘Dua’ (Supplication). Neither does it mean ‘Saumo Ramadan’ (Fasting during Ramadan) or those that are explicitly obligatory (Fardh) to the believers only.

Worship embraces everything in a man’s spiritual and physical being. That man thinks, speaks or does must be in obedience to the Will of the Most Merciful One to perform Worship. For doing so, he will be rewarded by his Creator whose Name is Most Exalted with perpetual felicity in this world and in the next.
