MARAWI CITY
The Ministry of Health in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (APMC-BARMM) has turned over this week to Amai Pakpak Medical Center (APMC) here in this city two mechanical ventilators, three high flow oxygen machine, personal protective equipment, and various Covid-19 medical supplies.
Health Minister Dr. Bashary A. Latiph on Friday turned over the supplies to APMC Hospital Chief Dra. Shalimar Sani-Rakiin.
Sani-Rakiin expressed her gratitude to MOH and the Bangsamoro Government for its life saving support to APMC in its continuing battle with Covid-19.
Meanwhile, Minister Latiph committed to employ more nurses to APMC to address its workforce shortage on its Covid-19 facilities.
As of May 22, the Bangsamoro Inter Agency Task Force (BIATF) has reported 55 Covid-19 patients currently admitted and 129 isolated patients in Lanao del Sur and Marawi City. JIJ
