Abdulghani “Gerry” Ajul Salapuddin, administrator/CEO of the Southern Philippines Development Authority (SPDA) based in Davao City visits the SPDA fishpond in Vitali, Zamboanga City.
Admin/CEO Salapuddin said the SPDA Fishpond at Vitali is so far, so good, ready to be harvested in 3 weeks time according to Nasil Tawasil, the Fishpond Officer Incharge and Technician.
The fishpond could add additional inputs to food production in time of this Pandemic. It is stocked with big species of bangus or milkfish (Chanos chanos Forskal); King Crabs; and Asian Tiger Shrimps (Panaeus monodon).
The flavor of it varies depending on the type and size of the crabs harvested. In general, however, most people describe its taste as a mix between shrimp and lobster with just a hint of saltiness to add some extra zing. … Crabmeat is white meat, not quite as soft and salty as chicken or steak, with no strong fish taste.
Why is king crab dilicious? The body of the crab often offers little meat, however, the legs are packed full of vitamins and minerals, and rich in Omega 3 fats. … King Crabs are unique not only because of how large they are and how delicious their meat tastes, but also because they only have six legs!
