PMT-19 management welcomes Dean Moslem as new columnist

The Management and Staff of Philippine Muslim Today (PMT-19) welcome former Mindanao State University (MSU) College of Law Dean Macacuna A. Moslem as the newspaper new opinion writer or columnist of its online daily news updates and newsweekly hardcopy issues.

Dean Moslem is at present Assistant Secretary of the Office of the President in Malacañang Palace, Manila.

He was also formerly the Chief of Staff of the then Secretary Wendel E. Avisado of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) in Malacañang, Manila.

Dean Moslem used to be the DBM permanent representative to the Task Force Bangon Marawi (TFBM); to the National Coordination Team for the transition to the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA); and to the Board of Regents (BOR) of the Mindanao State University (MSU) System.

He was also a former member of the Board of Trustees of Mindanao Law Schools; and the Philippine Association of Law Schools (PALS).

As a former College of Law Dean, Atty. Moslem handled the College of Law, Mindanao State University (MSU) System at the Main Campus in Marawi City; College of Law (Iligan Extension) at MSU-IIT; College of Law (General Santos City Extension) at MSU-General Santos City.

Aside from being a former Dean of the College of Law, Dean Moslem was also the former Dean of the College of Business Administration of the Mindanao State University (MSU) Main Campus, Marawi City.

Educationally Dean Moslem is well prepared academically in the field of Law. He is a holder of the Doctor of Philosophy  in Law (Ph.D.) that he graduated from the International Islamic University (IIU), Malaysia in 1994.

And before he got his Ph.D. in Law. he also graduated his Master of Comparative Laws (M.C.L.) also from IIU in 1992.

But beforehand he finished his Bachelor of Laws (Ll.B.) from Xavier University (Ateneo de Cagayan), Cagayan bed Oro City. And of course his A.B. in Political Science and English from Magsaysay Memorial College in General Santos City, Philippines in 1973.

Dean Moslem is happily married to Bae Sora M. Moslem from Toros, Marawi City. (JIJ)
